About Us

Pot-Luck Pottery is a family-owned and operated "paint-your-own pottery" workshop in Denver, Colorado. We’ve been in business for over 17 years, providing a creative outlet and fun gathering spot for groups, parties and individuals.

A personalized item painted by YOU, the artist in waiting, makes a memorable and heartfelt gift. Some of our most popular occasions include Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Birthdays, Halloween, Christmas and the winter holiday season. But of course, don’t forget to treat yourself to some quiet time to paint, listen to music and lose yourself in your artwork. Studies have shown an hour per week of art helps keep you happy!

Our pottery (bisque) varies in price. When you come into the studio feel free to walk around and peruse the selection. We have everything ranging from piggy banks, super hero figurines, and jewelry boxes to practical and useful items such as coffee mugs, pet bowls, dishes and kitchen items. We receive new inventory frequently to keep the shelves stocked with fresh items for all ages.

“If you hear a voice within you saying, ‘You are not a painter,’
then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.”

— Vincent van Gogh

Turn Around Time

We glaze and fire your pieces in house in one of our three kilns. This takes 8 full days to accomplish. For example, if you come in on Tuesday, your pieces will be done in one week + a day, so the Wednesday of the next week would be when your pottery would be ready for pick up. Pick up date will be written on your order slip. Please retain your order slip until you have safely picked up your pieces.

Note: if pieces are not picked up in two month’s time, or special arrangements have not been made, we will donate the pieces to local charities. We simply do not have the space for long-term storage. Thank you for understanding.
